Hey guys! I’ve had a lot of firsts since I started blogging. Today I wanna share with you my review of the first bubble pack I’ve tried. 🙂
I got lucky and was chosen by jolse.com to receive the TIA’M Sebum Drying Black Bubble Pack in exchange for my honest review. So here it is. 🙂
- This is a wash-off pack with charcoal powder that deeply cleanses pores of blackheads, sebum and other wastes.
- The albumin ingredient from egg white forms a moisture barrier on the skin and tightens the pores.
- Controls excess sebum build-up and regulates skin’s moisture balance.
- Brightens skin and improves skin’s elasticity and firmness.
- Good for all skin types.
HOW TO USE:
- Apply evenly onto dry face avoiding eye and lip areas.
- Tiny bubbles foam up as soon as you spread.
- Gently massage the bubbles and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Rinse with lukewarm water.
Packaging: The product comes in a hard white plastic jar with gray print, very simple but really sturdy. However, it doesn’t come with it’s own spatula. I had to use a spare spatula. All the prints are in Korean so you’d need the handy dandy photo option on the Google translate app. Though I hope, in the near future, all KBeauty products will have English translations in their packaging since they are now sold worldwide. 🙂
Texture and Scent: The product has a nice mild scent. Texture is very soft, adheres to the skin well and can be spread easily. It was so fun applying this on that during the time I was supposed to do a patch test on my chin only, I ended up applying it on my whole face instead. Hehe.
Application and Clean up: I wasn’t sure how thin or thick I should apply. I thought, so long as it’s even, it’s gonna be fine. One thing I noticed though during testing was that the bubbles foam faster and were thicker when I spread it using my fingers as compared to when using the spatula. As for clean up, there are some wash-off masks that are challenging to rinse off and this is one of them. I have learned that using a wet face towel to wipe off most of the mask before completely rinsing it off makes a lot of difference. I used lukewarm water both for the towel and rinsing off the mask.
Results: A little tingling sensation can be felt while the bubbles foam up. After massaging the bubbles onto my face and waiting for 5 to 10 minutes, I felt my skin starting to sweat. This was the mask at work. Right after using the TIA’M Sebum Drying Black Bubble Pack, my pores got smaller and complexion became brighter. Though it doesn’t seem to be noticeable on the photo above. Maybe my pores are just that big. The blackheads on my nose were gone too. My skin felt clean and soft without the tight and dry feeling. I’ve used this 2 to 3 times a week.
HOW MUCH and WHERE TO BUY:
It’s regular price is USD 20.59 (PHP 1,029.50, at PHP 50.00 to USD 1.00 exchange rate), but is currently on a promotional offer for only USD 16.47 (PHP 823.50, at PHP 50.00 to USD 1.00 exchange rate) at jolse.com. You can get your own TIA’M Sebum Drying Black Bubble Pack here.
I have combination-oily and a little sensitive skin and this product worked out well for me. I did not get any breakouts or other kinds of irritation. This has a higher price point and may be for those willing to spend a little bit more. I really enjoyed using the TIA’M Sebum Drying Black Bubble Pack and would definitely recommend it to those looking for a deep cleansing wash-off mask that’s good for any skin type.
