ELROEL Blanc Pact Review | StyleKorean Try Me; Review Me: Elroel

Hello everyone! First off, I want to thank Shai (IG: @skincarebae) and Ami (IG: @snailycat_) for choosing me to review Shai’s extra package of Elroel products in coordination with StyleKorean. I wasn’t really sure when I would be posting a full review again after my hiatus but I was really surprised and touched at the thought that they considered and picked me that it was hard to say no. So I went for it! It feels like it’s the boost I needed to start moving again. All this on top of the fact that Elroel seem to have really good products.

  • Description:
    • Its formulation changes from cream to compact.
    • It contains the moisturizing power of cream and the covering power of foundation in one product.
    • 70% Water Oil essence and patent elasticity ingredient nourishes the skin and expresses it as a healthy and lively skin.
    • It is a cream compact that creates a bright skin with excellent adhesion and natural covering power.
  • Size:  Item is 60g and contains 25g of product.
  • Price:  55,000 KRW (about 2,610.79 PHP)
  • Suggested Use:
    • Roll 3-5 rounds with puff on the contents, and then spread over the face like applying facial cream.
  • Ingredients:  Please see complete list of ingredients on product’s page at StyleKorean.com here.

Packaging:  The box is bluish black and glossy with gold logo in front and white print at the back. From the onset, it gives off that elegant feel.

When I opened the box, I was really amused at the size of this pact. It barely fits into my hand. I can also see my whole face comfortably on it’s huge ass mirror. The high compression NBR puff can cover one whole cheek. The puff’s material was made to prevent product absorption into the puff to maximize usage and application of the product. It’s very easy to clean too.

Scent and Texture:  The product has a very faint fresh floral scent. The scent seemed to stick around and not go away despite being very faint. It didn’t bother me though. I actually liked it because it gave me that sense of freshness. When you first open the product, you’ll see a pearly white balm. As suggested, you need to roll the puff around the balm 3 to 5 times before use. The pact is a firm balm that blends into a more creamy foundation-like shade the more you use the product.

Application:  Application was a breeze since you apply it like putting on a facial cream. I didn’t get stressed trying to pat pat pat on my face like how most cushions are recommended to be applied. The size and material of the puff made application so much more enjoyable.

Results:  It’s very moisturizing and has sheer to medium coverage with a semi-matte leaning a bit towards dewy finish. It’s a bit tacky at first but sets to feel more natural on the skin. It’s like my-skin-but-better. Really! Look at my photo below! It smoothened my skin, evened out and lightened the tone too. It made me look awake and fresh. It somehow looked like I got a minor face lift. Haha!

I normally prefer to set this with a mattifying oil-control powder since I live in a country where the weather feels like summer all year round. But during colder days, leaving it on on its own is just fine.

OVERALL:  I’ve been wondering why I haven’t considered using balm pacts in the past. I might have thought they were too rich for my oily-combination skin. But ever since I experienced using Elroel’s Blanc Pact, I can’t get enough of it. If not for the price, I would definitely repurchase this baby. But! If a time would come that I’d splurge on makeup, I’d go for this. Did I mention that it has SPF 50+ PA+++? This is my favorite item among the Elroel products sent for review.
